Expert London Immersion Hosts
I am a teacher and educational manager with over 28 years of experience in the UK and abroad including work with the British Council. Jon has a background in both international sales and local government project management. We both love travel but also love London - particularly its historical and cultural side. We enjoy introducing our guests to local walks and some secret corners of the city.
Our house is a historic English building, located 3 minutes walk from Enfield Chase train station and 5 minutes from the beautiful conservation area 'Gentleman's Row.' It has the benefit of being on a train line directly to Central London but also being a family community area with lots of parks, open spaces and historic buildings.
Our homestay - 'Hill's Folly'
Our guests have their own private double room and share our large family bathroom.
Jon has a small creative studio for working with paint and glass.
There is a large kitchen, perfect for cooking and entertaining - we often have our friends and family for dinner with our guests - and a beautiful conservatory overlooking our small garden.
For guests who may want to carry out an online business meeting or practise yoga or music, we also have a large separate living room, which is available on request
Enfield Chase Rail Station is 3 minutes walk from our house. You can also use the Picadilly Line tube from Oakwood station, or the Overground (Mildmay Line) from Enfield Town. You can be in central London - Moorgate/London Bridge in 30 minutes.
History Of Enfield
