About Us

At Windmill Hill, our mission is to provide a bespoke homestay experience led by expert hosts. We are dedicated to offering intensive language, conversation, and cultural confidence programmes for adults preparing to study, work or live in the U.K. and beyond. Nestled in a beautiful, green area of London, we leverage over three decades of experience to ensure our guests feel at home and confident within English-speaking communities worldwide.

Gigi & Jon

We're both curious about the world and enjoy meeting people, exchanging ideas and learning about different cultures. Gigi has a particular interest in personal development, while Jon is a keen amateur glass artist and has his own mini studio. We love travelling, but we're equally passionate about London, especially its rich history, culture and hidden treasures. For us, hosting is about more than providing accommodation or lessons - its about sharing experiences, enjoying interesting conversations and creating a relaxed, welcoming home where our guests feel comfortable, confident and part of everyday life.

Our homestay

Our house is a historic English building, located 3 minutes walk from Enfield Chase train station and 5 minutes from the beautiful conservation area 'Gentleman's Row.' It has the benefit of being on a train line directly to Central London but also being a family community area with lots of parks, open spaces and historic buildings.

Your room

Guests have their own private double room and share our large family bathroom.

There is a large kitchen, perfect for cooking and entertaining  - we often have our friends and family for dinner with our guests -  and a beautiful conservatory overlooking our small garden. For guests who may want to carry out an online business meeting or practise yoga or music, we also have a large separate living room, which is available on request.
